At Community Healers United, our mission is to transform the culture of oppression within institutions by empowering system-impacted individuals and communities through advocacy, organizing, and healing-centered practices. We use trauma-informed, evidence-based models to restore dignity, build leadership, and support families affected by incarceration, poverty, and violence.

What We Do
We provide direct support and leadership development to those most impacted by systemic injustice. Our programs include:
- Healing & Leadership Trainings for formerly incarcerated individuals and youth
- Participatory Defense and Reentry Services for families navigating the criminal legal system
- Policy Advocacy led by impacted community members
- Family Support Services addressing trauma, addiction, and housing instability
- Community Organizing to advance equity, justice, and safety
We believe healing is a form of resistance. By training local leaders and building collective power, we aim to end cycles of trauma and incarceration—once and for all.
Journey of Transformative Healing
Community Healers United is comprised of directly impacted communities across California who are local leaders serving people impacted by criminal lifestyle addictions, incarceration, systemic oppression, and tragedy and trauma in an effort to break the multi-generational cycle of trauma, poverty and homelessness.
